Will you ship chocolates in the warm weather?
Charlinda does not ship from May 31st to September 15th.  We do however ship same day service (ie: rush or 90 minutes service) in the GTA and York Region.  You are more than welcome to place your order for pick up at our shop.
Can you ship to PO boxes?
We do need a full address in order to ship and do not ship to PO boxes.

Can I have my order shipped to someone else if it is a gift?
Yes, simply supply us with both the billing and shipping addresses.

Will I get an order confirmation?
Yes, immediately after placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email with all your ordering information.  If there are any discrepancies, please contact us immediately.

Can I order a box of truffles and request certain flavours or do the come all assorted?
Generally, all the boxes of chocolates are assorted.  If you would like to customize your box then simply call us with your preference.

What sweetener do you use in the Sugar Free Chocolates?
The sweetener used in our sugar free chocolates is called Mallitol.

Are your chocolates gluten-free?
Yes, all our chocolates are gluten-free.

Care and Storage

How long will Charlinda Chocolates keep their freshness?
Our chocolates will stay fresh for up to 3-4 weeks as long as they are kept away from humidity and heat.  Chocolates should be stored in a cool dry room (should not exceed 65 degrees).  Avoid direct sunlight.

How do I keep the chocolates fresh if I want to keep them for more than 3-4 weeks?
To store chocolates for longer periods of time, place chocolates in two plastic bags and seal tightly.  You may place this bag in the freezer.  Once you want ot enjoy them again, simply take the bag out of the freezer and place it in the fridge for 2 hours and then at room temperature until the entire package becomes room temperature.

Allergy Information

Does your chocolate contain dairy?
Any of our solid dark chocolate items are lactose free.

Does your chocolate contain nuts?
We do have nuts at our facility; however we produce all solid chocolate products on separate days, using no nuts in the kitchen.  Having said that, our chocolates may contain traces of nuts.

Wedding, Baby and Party Favours?

How far in advance should I order?
Charlinda would recommend that you order at least 4-6 weeks in advance of the event.

Do you offer volume discounts?
Volume discounts of 5% on orders placed and paid for over $500.  Please contact us for further information.
